This stunning invitation with its black embossed jacket and embossed flip style invitation wasn’t what Rhea had in mind when she came to see me, however when she saw this design she fell in love with the beautiful embossing to the jacket and the invitation. By adding embossing to the top of the inside pages added a little something extra along with just a touch of bling!
As the venue for the reception is in a french restaurant, Julie wanted to add a french influence to her black and white invitations.
The black envelopes with white labels and embossed flaps create a sense of anticipation. The front of the trifold folder establishes the formal tone of the event by using a formal font with a touch of bling. Once opened the delicate black and white back ground matting creates the french feel Julie was looking for.
I’ve continued the theme through with the place cards, Menu’s and Seating plan using the Chandelier to tie all the pieces together.
So I’ve decided that basically I am a person who likes simple clean lines. After looking at lots of different options this is what we decided on. Well me I guess ’cause my husband said he didn’t mind which one we have. “You always make lovely things” Translated does that mean “It’s just an Invitation does it really matter?” LOL
The Chandelier has been embossed and is all sparkly although it hasn’t come up very well in the photo. I’m really pleased with the out come as I haven’t had my CB very long and I’m new to stamping as well. I used The Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder, Top Note Die both from Stampin Up and the Stamp was from Kaisercraft.
