To the Moon and Back

I had lots of fun making this card! It was quick and easy. I drew my  inspiration  from my friend Kristie, she is fun and adorable!

I used Karen Burniston’s Snowman Twist Circle Pop-Up Die. I love it!

The products I used, can be found in my online store at My Craft Cupboard for my Australian readers.

Heart Pivot Card

imageI made this sweet little card, for my grand-daughter who likes purple and hearts, using the Elizabeth Craft Designs die Heart Pivot by Karen Burniston and  Agatha Edges die. I used paper from K&CoMPANY Jubilee 12×12 pad. Love this pad!image

600 and counting!

invite 1This is an invitation that I designed for my friend Kristie’s daughter. She wanted something to reflect her lace dress with swirls and pearls. The belly band was embossed with a Mr & Mrs embossing folder and the inserts and invitation also were embossed.  Pearls were added to the invitation and belly band. The jacket provided a place to hold every thing together including a photo of the Bride & Groom.

Originally Kristie was going to make them herself. My husband and I were in the states in February for our Daughters marriage and I helped Kristie get every thing she needed to make these, assuring her that she could do this herself with my help via Facetime and me having the typesetting set up for her. What was I thinking???? When I realised she was making 600 invitations! That is a huge task even for me who is very experienced. So my lovely husband suggested I fly over and help get them made. In the end I was there for 8 weeks and my poor husband regretted suggesting it! I admit that it was a little long…….. in my defence my reasoning was sound, make the invitations, spend some time with my daughter, go to the wedding, celebrate my grand daughters birthday and celebrate Kristie and my birthday (same day)    In the end we made over 600 invitations! The whole family helped and it was lots of fun! I have a little video of Kristie’s boys  using the cuttlebug, it was hilarious, unfortunately I can’t up load it on this version of wordpress.

Horse and Carriage cheque book style

frontimg_1498rsvp-pageinsideKirsty wanted the features of a pocket fold invitation but as her sister’s wedding invitation was a pocket fold she wanted to have something completely different.  It was important to include information such as accommodations, directions and a wishing well along with providing a response card and envelope. This cheque book style invitation allows room for many pages and the back cover holds the response card and return envelope. The directions page also includes perforation.  A lovely combination of lace, ribbon and embossing.

Never Ending Wedding Invitation

WHITE 1This Never Ending all-in-one Wedding Invitation opens to reveal an Invitation and opens again to reveal a quote and opens again to reveal a Wishing Well and R.S.V.P details and opens again to the beginning! Very cute and lots of different ways to present it. Looks great on natural card as well.

zip pull surprise message invitation

zip4This cute quirky pocket style invitation is so much fun!

When the guest pulls the zip to open the invitation, it revels a hidden message!  When  opened further a fun and quirky invitation  awaits.  The zip pull theme could then be carried through with the wedding favours!

Guest book Peacock theme

guest book 1guest book 2guest book 3This is a little guest book I made using the peacock theme for my bride from a previous post.

The front cover was partially embossed with the peacock folder from Cuttlebug Animal Prints set and also added a touch of bling.

The pages allow the guests to leave a little message with some fun!
