I loved making these Invitations. Shellee’s theme was Butterfly’s with the colours of blue, pink and grey. She knew she wanted bling and a gate fold Invitation. I really liked the Menu too it is a little different.
I made these for my friend’s girls. Keely and Ashley had been working hard on some goals they had set. As they progressed they received little rewards along the way. Part way through they were finding it hard going, so I made these little invitations up to remind them of what they were working for. I mailed them off in a very pretty envelope for each of them. The squeals of delight said it all!
I’ve been playing with my Cuttlebug some more this week. This card is the product of me playing with an idea for a wedding invitation I’ve been asked to make, which I adapted for my Sisters birthday. Red is her favourite colour. I drew a free form heart and then used it as a template which I drew onto the back of the embossed section (I used Sizzix Starry Night) and then cut out the shape. It took a little bit of adjusting to get the right shape. Over all I’m pleased with the outcome :0)
This photo doesn’t do justice (ok so my photography skills aren’t great I admit!) to this lovely invitation. The buckle just shines and compliments the mix of the beautiful Damask metallic paper with the vellum and white overlay. This is the invitation that was created to compliment with the Black and White ticket style Save the Dates I posted previously. I like how the diamantes on the initials add a little something extra to the inside of the invitation giving it a touch of bling
